Hi Al, Some good news!!!!! We just found out Yesterday Owen Sound to Host 2012 U21 Junior Canadian Championsips! The Owen Sound Fastpitch Organization has won the bid to host the 2012 U21 Junior Canadian Championships in August. This will be the third time the tournament has been held in Owen Sound in the past 5 years. After hosting the Senior Men's Championship this past August, the committee rested for a few weeks and decided to try and bring another tourney back to Owen Sound. This will be the 6th National Championship that has come to the city since 2001. The organizers and host committee are excited and are already planning for the prestigious event. This will be the first year with the new age changes. The age has changed from Under 23 to Under 21. With great speculation in fastball circles that this rule would be reversed, it became official the new category would stand at the Canada AGM in Halifax this past weekend. Yours in fastball!
