Subject: Crush push Eagles to Game #5 in Tri-County Fastball League

4 Games, 34 innings have been played, only 8 Runs have been scored (4 by
Eagles; 4 by Crush. It all comes down to 1 game in the Tri-County Fastball
League Final.

Game #1

Well pitched game by both pitchers

WP - Tim Niell (0 ER, 4 H, 8K, 0BB)
LP - Adam Martin (0 ER, 3 H, 10K, 2BB)

Innerkip pushes a run across in the 3rd inning on an error, and that is all the
scoring

Aaron Kreiger 1-2, 1BB
Nate Awde 1-3

Sweaburg Crush
Steve Johnson 2-3
Darryl Wharram 1-3
Rory Miller 1-3

Game #2

On a beautiful October evening for Game # 2. Fans were again treated to a
pitchers dual as Tim Niell again toed up for the visiting Eagles vs. the lefty
Todd Winkworth for the Crush

Both pitchers would bend but not break allowing base runners to reach but not
score until the top of the 13th where a Nate Awde sac fly would score Aaron
Kreiger for the games only run.

WP - Tim Niell (13IP, 0R, 14K, 1BB, 8H)
LP - Todd Winkworth (13 IP, 1R, 2K, 4BB, 13H)

Sweaburg - 10 LOB
Innerkip - 20 LOB

Game #3

Yet another pitching dual in Game #3 of the A-Finals. This game featured the
Crush Adam Martin vs. Eagles Tim Niell

The Crush capitalized on a Eagles 3rd inning error to push the games only run
across.

WP - Adam Martin (0 ER, 2H, 3BB, 9K, 5 LOB)
LP - Tim Niel (0 ER, 2H, 3BB, 5K, 3 LOB)

Innerkip
Adam McIntyre (1-2, 1BB)
Nate Awde (1-1, 2BB)

Sweaburg
Eric Scott (1-2, 1BB)
Darryl Wharram (1-3)

Game #4

Crush force a game 5

WP Todd Winkworth(2/3 innings 0ER,0H,0BB,0K)in relief for Adam Martin (6 1/3
innings, 1ER,5H,2BB, 8K)

LP - Tim Niell (7 innings, 3 ER,4H,1BB,6K)

Innerkip struck first in the top half of the 3rd inning with Adam McIntyre
driving in Paul McIntyre who reached earlier on an error.
Sweaburgs defence cut down Brent Witzell in the 6th, from reaching 3rd base as
the relay to Rory Miller came in and Rory threw a missle to get Witzell at 3rd.
Sean Mclaren led of the top of the 7th for Innerkip with a triple and was
promptly scored on a Paul McIntyre double. This enabled the Eagles to take a
2-0 lead into the bottom of the 7th. (this being the most runs scored in a game
the entire series)Sweaburg's lead off batter in the 7th, Darryl Wharram, drove
the first pitch up the middle to lead the inning of with a single. Sweaburgs
second batter Mark McCallum followed suit and drove one up the gut for a single
as well. This put runners on first and second, and Jeff Figg quickly deposited
the first pitch over the center field fence. Thus collecting Sweaburgs only 3
RBI's with one swing.

Another great game by both teams.

Game #5 Is scheduled for Monday, October 15th in Innerkip.
