Menâs NAFA âAAâ and âAâ tournament Rice Lake, WI - USA June 14-16, 2013 10 TEAMS TO COMPETE IN 35th RICE LAKE AQUAFEST INVITATIONAL MENâS FASTPITCH TOURNAMENT Defending champion Wilber Lime of Galesville headlines the roster of ten teams for the 35th Rice Lake Invitational Menâs Fastpitch Tournament to be held June 14-16, once again in conjunction with the cityâs annual Aquafest celebration. Wilber has captured the tourney title a total of seven times. Five other Wisconsin squads and four from Minnesota complete the 2013 field. Wisconsin entries include the Rice Lake Orangemen, the only team to have played in all 34 previous events, along with the La Crosse Athletics, Saw Dust City of Eau Claire, Dugout Bar and Grill of Cushing, and the Gators of Farmington. PBI of West St. Paul, tournaments champs in 2002, 2003, and 2005 heads the list of Gopher State ball clubs that includes the Liberty Mutual Mudhens of West St. Paul, Ostrander, and Tin Cup of St. Paul. Play begins Friday evening at 8:00 at Bob Curtis Field with the host team Orangemen facing Farmington. Play resumes Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Bob Curtis Field with Dugout meeting Tin Cup. At the same time at Tolly Steinert Field Sawdust City and PBI square off. At 11:45 a.m. at Curtis Field the Orangemen-Farmington survivor matches up with the Mudhens and at Steinert Field, same time, the La Crosse Athletics will oppose Ostrander. At 1:30, Curtis, Wilber Lime will take on the Dugout-Tin Cup winner. Play continues Saturday afternoon and evening and resumes Sunday at 9:00 a.m., with all of the action taking place on the Tate Park complex.
