Subject: Manitoulin Mens Fastball Wrap-Up

Good morning,
If you could, it would be cool to have our wrap-up published on your site.

MANITOULIN MEN'S FASTBALL WRAP-UP

The Kaboni Tigers have made history and won their first MMFL League Championship in almost 50 years as they defeated the Gore Bay Merchants by a score of 13-11 at home in Game 4.  The Merchants opened the series with a close 2-1 victory.  The Tigers were seeking redemption and won the following two games by scores of 10-4 at home and 9-1 on the road.

Kaboni finished the year 6-5-1 and 3rd in the regular season.  The team from Gore Bay finished the year on top of the standings.

In round 1 action, the Tigers swept the young guns from Manitowaning 2-0 and found a tough test in the semi-final round against the perennial powerhouse AOK Raiders.  A tough series that went the distance, with the Tigers defeating the Raiders 3 games to 2.  Gore Bay received a bye in round 1 and were able to squeak by the Mindemoya Brewers in the semi-finals in 4 games (with two of those games going 10 innings).

This year's season was a short but very competitive one.  Congratulations to all the teams that competed and we look forward to another solid 2015 season.

The Kaboni Tigers Championship roster includes:  Ronnie Jackson, Clifton Wassengeso, Brent Peltier, Quinton Recollet, Dustin Peltier, Jordan Peltier, Zeek Peltier, Dominic Desmoulin, Branden Ominika, Matt Kernaghan, Warren Simon, Mark Jr. Roy, and Jason Pangowish.
