Hi all, I have two windows laptops, on the older one, I can connect directly to the Telemetrum and to the TeleDongle with no problems. On the new laptop, I can't get the computer to recognize that I've plugged into the Telemetrum. I switch the Telemetrum on, allow the Telemetrum to go through its startup sequence, then I plug it into the USB, and I get the "da-da" sound from the computer signifiying it doesn't recognize the device. If I then try to select "Configure Altimeter" from ALTOS, no devices are listed.
The new computer has Java jre6, as does the old computer. Both computers are running ALTOS Rev 1.1. Can you point me in the right direction for troubleshooting? I'd really like to get the new laptop working, as the battery life is about 5X that of the old laptop.
