Telemega stuck in pad mode (Lowell Hart) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 Date: Tue, 1 Jun 2021 10:56:19 -0700 From: Lowell Hart <dimeb...@gmail.com> To: altusmetrum@lists.gag.com Subject: [altusmetrum] Telemega stuck in pad mode Message-ID: <caoarmza7rxwlo+bvxstmcjsqpsqpmpq8wbnjtwbtbqbftmu...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Hi, my new TeleMega 4.0 seems stuck in pad mode, regardless of its orientation when I turn it on. The only beeps are battery voltage and the pad mode sequence, no continuity beeps. It also does not broadcast telemetry or GPS info. I started by flashing the newest firmware from AltIos 1.9.6. It came with the APRS interval set to zero, so I set it to 5. I added things like my call sign and some other settings I used on my recently-lost TeleMega 2.0. Saving and rebooting showed the changes, but no radio transmissions. The beep sequence with matches on apogee and main is still just the battery numbers, and "dit dah dah dit" no continuity beeps. Another way to say it, it doesn't make the same noises that my older unit did. Repeated restarting, changing orientation and changing various settings does not fix it. I did calibrate the accelerometer. I'm wondering what I'm missing. Thanks, Lowell Hart AEROPac Tripoli Central California -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
