One had the USB come off. (Had been in discussion about repairs last summer, but I seemed to mostly need to use it and the timing was never convenient.) The other had the smoke come out. (A student team got the battery backwards!) It still gets a good GPS lock when on USB, but it doesn’t transmit. Had a similar issue repaired successfully several years ago.
