After looking at quite a bit of the post to
amanda-users it seems as though that a lot of people
has trouble understanding which /dev/<device> to use
for amanda. I know for me setting up a changer under
RedHat 7.0 was a bit tough due to never having used
scsi devices under Linux before.

Maybe in the "Dummies" section ?????

Everyone should pitch in an example for the approriate
OS.

I use RedHat 7.0 ( two internal SCSI drives and my
tape drive I use is the second scsi tape device
attached )

HP SureStor 24x6 autoloader
/dev/nst1 ( for the drive )
/dev/sg3  ( for the changer ) 

That is my "two-cents"
