Yup. You may want to increase the maximum size of a UDP packet in
common-src/dgram.h:MAX_DGRAM. 2.4.2 will have it set to 64Kb.

Hi, Alexander. I have the same problem than Chistopher. I'm using
Amanda2.4.2p2. This is my disklist:
brutus /etc/ brutus-tar-etc 1
brutus /opt/ brutus-tar 1
brutus /var/qmail/ brutus-tar-var-qmail 1
brutus /var/Maildir/vpopmail/ brutus-tar-var-Maildir-vpop 1
brutus /usr/local/ brutus-tar 1
#Nolosix
nolosix /usr/local/sbin/ nolosix-tar 1
nolosix /var/lib/mysql/ nolosix-tar 1
nolosix /etc/ nolosix-tar 1
nolosix /opt/ nolosix-tar 1
#Windows
brutus //x.x.es/Cinetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //a.x.es/Cinetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //a.x.es/Einetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //a.x.es/Elogs root-tar-win 1
brutus //as.x.es/Cinetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //o.x.es/Cinetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //o.x.es/Dinetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //ars.x.es/Cinetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //ars.x.es/Dinetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //p.x.es/Cinetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //p.x.es/Dinetsrv root-tar-win 1
brutus //th.xpress.es/Cinetsrv root-tar-win 1
When i run amdump the result is:
[...]
FAILED [badly formatted response from brutus]
brutus /usr/local/ lev 0 FAILED [badly formatted response from
brutus]
[...]
If I only put on my disklist 4 o 5 entries then amdump work fine.
I have tried chance MAX_DGRAM (64*1024) to MAX_DGRAM(512*1024) and I
have recompiled and installed amanda. But the results are the same.
Could you help me?
Thanks in advanced.
