Amanda uses a new tape every run (or more tha one, depending on what
'runtapes' is). It doesn't matter how full the tape is -- amanda does not
append, and this is a feature, not a bug. Appending is very risky.
It's "new tape" because amanda doesn't know what tape you want to put next
in the sequence.

You *always* have to amlabel your tapes. Amanda will keep asking for "new
tape" until you have amlabelled *and amdumped* to 'tapecycle' tapes.
