OK.

Yup, that looks good.
Go to /tmp/amanda on wilder and find an amandad that is starting the
sendsize service. Take the OPTIONS line and the GNUTAR line for /home
and put them in a temp file. It should look something like this:
OPTIONS hostname=fortress.cc.purdue.edu;
GNUTAR /home 0 1970:1:1:0:0:0 -1
Then, as your Amanda user, run sendsize by hand with that file as stdin.
It should generate stdout like this:
OPTIONS maxdumps=2;
/home 0 SIZE 164
It will also generate a new sendsize*debug file. I'd be interested
in what you get on stdout and the debug file with only the one file
system processed.
