Hi,
i bet sg0 is not your correct changer-device. What do you get if you type:

cat /proc/scsi/scsi

this shows you the devices known to your linux-system.
In this list locate your changer. If it's the firste device, /dev/sg0 is ok,
if its the second, use /dev/sg1 ......
