On the side, can you tell me who, or what is fed into this script?. If
its the tar'd data, then there is a potential problem. Some of the files
are in the gigabyte range. Although at 100mbps ethernet can take some
min, but taping it out at 1.5MBps may take a lot longer that 30min to
get another 'index' name, or even a buffer of names. Is this where the
'data timeout' is happening ?
