The segfault issue is fixed in the HEAD branch of CVS. I'm not sure
exactly when it was patched. However, you need to figure out where the
invalid information is coming from that is tickling this bug. I had a
segfault in chg-scsi also which in my case turned out to be a power
supply failure on the tape library. I couldn't find a core dump,
though.
