Strings which are considered "normal" are listed as DMP_NORMAL in 
client-src/sendbackup-gnutar.c.  But...

I see that message in there in version 2.4.2p2.  What version of amanda 
are you using?  Upgrading to 2.4.2p2 should fix this.
