The setup: serverA (Tru64 4.0) used to provide backup services to serverA
(itself) and clientB (Tru64 4.0).

I've migrated the tape from serverA to clientB, towards a shutdown of serverA.
Everything seems to work fine (from the hardware side), the database has been
successfully copied over (/etc/myconfig and /usr/adm/amanda were scp'ed to
clientB), but with two glitches:

clientB seems to wish to restart my tape schedule at tape00, whereas serverA
did his last backup on tape04.

But the real kicker: clientB will not accept connections to backup from
itself! The exact log from amcheck is:

Amanda Tape Server Host Check
-----------------------------
ERROR: cannot overwrite active tape TAPE04.
(expecting tape TAPE00 or a new tape)
NOTE: skipping tape-writable test.
Server check took 5.716 seconds.

Amanda Backup Client Hosts Check
--------------------------------
ERROR: clientB: [access as root not allowed from root@clientB]
Client check: 1 host checked in 0.453 seconds, 1 problem found.

(brought to you by Amanda 2.4.1p1)

What exactly is wrong?

Have fun,
Chris

I haven't lost my mind. It's backed up on tape somewhere.
