Amanda seems to start up and run fine, it then starts writing to tape... a VXA-2 to be exact, about 80G uncompressed. The data is only about 37G. Here's the log:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] logs]# cat log
DISK planner beaker sdb1
DISK planner beaker sdb2
START planner date 20031031
INFO planner Adding new disk beaker:sdb1.
INFO planner Adding new disk beaker:sdb2.

INFO taper tape DailySet101 kb 224 fm 1 writing file: Input/output error
FAIL taper beaker sdb2 20031031 0 [out of tape]
ERROR taper no-tape [[writing file: Input/output error]]

Any ideas? Or do I need to include any other data to help diagnose the problem? Also, all the tapes are labelled and have no other data currently on them.

Paul
