Hmm, I'm beginning to believe that's the case. I've ordered a replacement drive so that we can have that up and running quickly. Will hopefully also be able to get this one repaired, but no-one can give me a guaranteed repair schedule that doesn't cost more than a new drive! Thanks for your help ...
