The .amandahosts is as you say, with the entries for root and for amanda user:

but the problem persist.
In spanish:
El .amandahosts es como decís, con las entradas para root y para el usuario amanda

irixoa06.des.udc.es amanda
pero el problema sigue ahí (qué jodido!!).
