Hello Amanda users,
I've (re)established an amanda server on an IRIX 6.5.19 system
(multi processor Origin 300) with a Pterabyte raid array.
Amanda is version 2.4.4p1-20030716.
I have an 8 slot carosel with an SDLT 320 tape drive.
I've broken the raid into DLEs based on the top level directory
structure of the (single large) partition. The raid is .886 PBytes.
Since I don't really have a spool area (none officially assigned
anyway) the DLE's that saw an EOT from the SDLT failed, they don't
currently span tapes (no patches in place) and don't retry. Direct
to tape doesn't retry, does it ?
Is there a way to force "next tape" prior to running the larger DLEs ?
