Where are you running it from? It'll read the config in the local
directory (IIRC), so you should run it from your config directory.

I've noticed that on our Exabyte unit, it *always* reports the number of
slots that actually have tapes in them, as opposed to the number of
slots I've specified to use, or the total number of slots.
