Something you have probably already checked. Is the tape write protect switch on ?

Does anyone know why it would say something like this? I've checked the device permissions, and they're the same as on my primary (working) backup server. This makes me think it may be a problem with this Sony TSL-11000 unit. Anyone have any ideas of what else I can try?
