Amanda is creating files (locale problem)

Hi all,

I'm runing amanda-2.4.4p1-0.3E (RH ES 3.3) and have some problem with non-ascii caracters.

For example, I have a file called "aandré.nsf". This file turns into "aandré.nsf" when I list it with "ls". But, funnier, Amanda creates 2 files when I restore it ("aandré.nsf" and "aandr?.nsf").

LANG is "en_US.UTF-8".

Is it a problem in my config or bug in Amanda?
