Thanks for all the responses, pretty much confirming what I thought. I haven't done anything special with the ports yet though, & both configs seem to run together just fine, but I haven't got multiple clients involved in this config, I'm just testing out the concepts. I need to look at port ranges etc. next as if we start using Amanda more widely then firewalls will definitely be involved and will need to be locked down as far as possible.
