We've had a Neo 4000 with 4xLTO-2 drives that's been humming along for at least 4 years now. I don't know the earliest version of Amanda that was used against it, but when I joined the organization, it was at 2.4-something, we upgraded it to 2.5.

We've kept a Neo-2000 library with dual LTO-3 drives busy for 3 years now with no problems so far. Other departments here have had similar experience with Overland equipment: not fancy, but very solid. -Roy On Mon, 27 Oct 2008, Nick Brockner wrote: > Howdy, > > Time to replace the aging DAT changer. > > Just looking for some input on what LTO3/4 drives (or libraries) work well > with amanda. > > Thanks in advance, > Nick > > This message and any attachments are intended only for the use of the addressee and may contain information that is privileged and confidential.
