This generally means that the device is using a smaller blocksize (1M, maybe less) than you are giving it (2M). This is the drive's way of indicating logical EOM. In 3.2 we will actually detect this and handle it properly (this is "The End of Fragmentation" I've been talking about). Try reducing your blocksize, and things should improve.
