UPengan, check the file protections on the .amandahosts file in the amanda user's login directory.
Ignore the "directory does not exist messages", they are informational and will be corrected by amanda when it next runs. Not sure what to tell youabout the "no slots" message, I'm guessing that you didn't correctly point amanda at your tape device and/or tape-robot. Installing the software is step one, what have you done in the way of configuring it ?
