Hi Jean. I built Amanda 3.3.1 on RHEL6.1 and checkd the man pages to get more detailes about new features introduced in therelease note.
Now, I have a question. > diskfile > > new 'includefile' option. There is no man page of diskfile. So I think this would introduce a new function of disklist(5) (although dlisklist(5) doesn't contains this term) and 'includefile' works as the following way: When 'includefile' appears in a disklist, an external file read into there. Am I right? 2012/2/22 Jean-Louis Martineau <martin...@zmanda.com>: > Hello, > > The Amanda core team is pleased to announce the release of Amanda 3.3.1. > > > Source tarballs are available from > > * http://www.amanda.org > * https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=120 > > Binaries for many systems are available from > > * http://www.zmanda.com/download-amanda.php > > Documentation can be found at > > * http://wiki.zmanda.com > > > Here's a list of the changes for release 3.3.1 (from the NEWS file): > Look at the ReleaseNotes and ChangeLog file for more details. > > amrecover > > new 'settransalte' command. > > amanda.conf > > new '$s' substitution in autolabel. > new 'max-dle-by-volume' global option. > new 'eject-volume' global option. > > diskfile > > new 'includefile' option. > > amcheck > > new '--client-verbose' argument. > > All programs have a new '--version' argument. > ampgsql can take property from server configuration. > amgetconf can print one property of a section. > s3 device > > new S3_SERVER_SIDE_ENCRYPTION property. > use multiple thread to speedup deleting a volume. > > Many bug fix. > > > Jean-Louis
