Hi Jean-Louis, Now I get two other error messages
- dump failed: dumper: [/bin/tar: Ignoring unknown extended header keyword 'hdrcharset'], finished (17:41:11) localhost://monster.qudosoft.de/software - dump failed: dumper: [missing size line from sendbackup], finished (17:38:08) which lets the dump fail completely. I haven't found the strings in the log files so I haven't attached the logs at the moment. Anyway, it seems that the amsamba script is still a little bit buggy. Maybe I'll revert to the previous tar configuration with an earlier smbclient version to have working backups. Is the amsamba application tested and in use after all?
