Are you sure amanda can reuse one of those tapes?
The 'amtape vtape inventory' command should list the retention of each tape.

It is still hard for me to know *which* of the debug-files is relevant,
that tree of dirs and logfiles in $DEBUGDIR is a bit baroque to me ;-)
I feel free to attach the 3 latest debugfiles I think that are relevant
to that "amcheck" right now.
