these we common problems with older Amarok and phonon versions, please try
with Amarok 2.6.0 *and* recent phonon, phonon-gstreamer or phonon-vlc:
* phonon >= 4.6.0
* phonon-gstreamer >= 4.6.2
* phonon-vlc >= 0.6
