Looks to me as if amavisd-new was stopped and restarted at
14:00. Got some cron process that bounces the service?
A recent thread on postfix-users reported slow performance
with postfix<->amavisd-new on FreeBSD 6, the solution in
that case was to use:
# sysctl net.inet.tcp.delayed_ack=0
Which might be a bug in FreeBSD 6.
