Hi Gary, I solved the trouble: we were on the wrong way. As last resort I tried to strace amavisd process. Well, it seems there were problem related to permission with /etc/ldap.conf and /etc/openlda/ldap.conf. Changed them to less restrictive permissions and amavis started to work properly.
