Figured this out a few days back, but just to follow up for some future 
helmet wearer like myself, you DO need /etc/protocols in the chroot tree. 
DOH, -10 points for thinking I'm too cool for documentation (as it is 
clearly mentioned in the amavisd chroot doc).


Fresh versions of FreeBSD + Postfix + Amavisd-new + Clamav + SA + 
Razor2/DCC/FuzzyOcr (and all associated libs) = Happy 2007 everybody!!
