Ah, now we're getting somewhere. I use
@local_domains_maps = ( read_hash('/var/amavis/local_domains') );
to read the domain list from a script-generated file. What I missed last
night was that the conspicuous messages were sent to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
type addresses, while local_domains contained only "foo.tld" but not
".foo.tld" for these domains.
Thanks for your help, Marc! I apologize for trying to find an answer
when it was already way past midnight local time, instead of getting
some hours of sleep first. ;-)
