That would be me ;-)
Deinstall spamassassin, rm -rf /usr/local/etc/mail Install spamassassin from ports: ls -ltd /usr/local/etc/mail drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 512 Jun 12 23:03 /usr/local/etc/mail ls -ltd /usr/local/etc/mail/spamassassin/ drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 512 Jun 12 23:03 /usr/local/etc/mail/spamassassin/ Looks like user changed umask on purpose since default looks fine. (remember that sesame street song 'one of these things is not like the other' Or rule #1: if you change something and it breaks, change it back ;-0) Now, question is, should the spamassassin port override the custom umask ? Changing the umask is a security decision, something the site maintainer obviously did on purpose. _________________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned and certified safe by SpammerTrap(tm).
