Hi! We are currently using Postfix 2.3.8 with amavisd-new 2.4.5 and everything is working well. Thanks. :-)
We are receiving some TNEF attachments that some of our users cannot opened. I just send the attached email on another forum and here is my interpretation of the proposed solution: postfix -> filter:10023 [ripMIME + alterMIME] -> amavisd:10024 [clamd + spamassassin] -> postfix:10025 (reinjection) -> lmtp (cyrus) Before trying to wrote that filter and reinventing the wheel, do you know if amavisd-new can do it ? I know that amavisd-new already detach any TNEF attachments, can it replace the original email with the now extracted files ? Any hints will be appreciated. I'm sure other people have the same need as this one.
