Hi! Using uvscan as a backup av_scanner and clamd as the primary one is our current configuration but I was curious to find if such a beast exists
I'm also assuming that I cannot easily daemonize a program (for which I don't have the source) by just wrapping it in some forking code Many thanks for all your replies Eddy ----- Message d'origine ----- À : "Eddy Beliveau" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> My 'problem' is that uvscan is started once for each analyzed email >> >> Does someone know if there is a daemon version of uvscan > De : "MrC" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > There is no daemonized uvscan. > > It is slow; use it as a backup scanner behind clamdscan. > > I find it rare that uvscan catches something not already caught by clamav. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
