Amavisd-new does not support TCP streaming option. I posted a question about it, and experimented with it a month or so ago.
Normally, amavisd-new will send the FULL FILE NAME AND PATH to clamd/clamscan. You can see how this will not work remotely, unless you nfs mount the filesystem and change the path, right?
