Currently there is no way to do what you are asking for,
except by providing an external cron job. The files are just
left at their original position and amavisd moves on to a new
temporary directory, no copying takes place. Best to fix
the reason for failures, or abandon using tempfs and use
a larger disk partition - on a UFS file system it is not
much slower.

This SQL failure and its solution is described in 2.6.1 release notes,
please apply it.
