Hi,

i have a problem with some badly configured mailservers that forward
mails by wrapping the original message in a new mail as mime part. These
mailservers and some users with out-of-office or other mail redirections
generate mail loops. My mailserver is a postfix with amavisd-new as
proxy filter. I have no problem with cpu performance but with log space.
These mails run some hundred loops until the size exceeds the maximum
message size of one of the mailservers.
Each time the mail hits my amavids-new, i get hundreds of lines with
...3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/3/1/...
and with
...0 (0%)12, decompose_part: 0 (0%)12, decompose_part: 0 (0%)12,
decompose_part: 0 (0%)12, decompose_part: 0 (0%)12,...

Ideally i would like to block the mail or drop it. Can this be done with
amavisd-new? What version of amavisd-new is required to be able to block
this mail?

Thank you

Florian
