Hello
I am running the latest amavisd-new. Emails are arriving and are placed in the mailbox. I do not see any evidence of spamassassin firing or clamav being invoked. This is logged upon an email being recieved: May 22 22:07:13 s...@mail postfix/smtpd[5329]: connect from sendersdomain.com[212.219.118.155] May 22 22:07:13 s...@mail postfix/smtpd[5329]: 6D0B86E501: client=mail.sendersdomain.com[212.219.118.155] May 22 22:07:13 s...@mail postfix/cleanup[5333]: 6D0B86E501: message-id=4a17221f0200006100005...@mail.sendersdomain.com May 22 22:07:13 s...@mail postfix/qmgr[4327]: 6D0B86E501: from=jbass...@sendersdomain.com, size=2370, nrcpt=1 (queue active) May 22 22:07:13 s...@mail postfix/smtpd[5329]: disconnect from mail.sendersdomain.com[212.219.118.155] May 22 22:07:14 s...@mail postfix/smtpd[5337]: connect from mail.destination.com[127.0.0.1] May 22 22:07:14 s...@mail postfix/smtpd[5337]: C0CFF6EF4A: client=mail.destination.com[127.0.0.1] May 22 22:07:14 s...@mail postfix/cleanup[5333]: C0CFF6EF4A: message-id=4a17221f0200006100005...@mail.sendersdomain.com May 22 22:07:14 s...@mail postfix/smtpd[5337]: disconnect from mail.destination.com[127.0.0.1] May 22 22:07:14 s...@mail postfix/qmgr[4327]: C0CFF6EF4A: from=<jbass...@sendersdomain.com>, size=2794, nrcpt=1 (queue active) May 22 22:07:14 s...@mail postfix/local[5338]: C0CFF6EF4A: to=<jcord...@mail.destination.com>, orig_to=<jcordell>, relay=local, delay=0.01, delays=0.01/0.01/0/0, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (delivered to mailbox) May 22 22:07:14 s...@mail postfix/smtp[5334]: 6D0B86E501: to=<jcordell>, orig_to=<t...@destination.com>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024, delay=1.4, delays=0.16/0/0/1.2, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 Ok, id=04350-03, from MTA([127.0.0.1]:10025): 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as C0CFF6EF4A) May 22 22:07:14 s...@mail postfix/qmgr[4327]: 6D0B86E501: removed May 22 22:07:14 s...@mail postfix/qmgr[4327]: C0CFF6EF4A: removed Both virus and spam scanning seem to be on in amavisd.conf: @bypass_virus_checks_maps = (0); @bypass_spam_checks_maps = (0); If I turn off the amavisd service, the mail log simply shows that the incoming connection was unable to connect. To me this shows that amavisd-new is the part that is being invoked as expected?
