In this case the virus scanner only suspected an infection, but
did not provide any specific virus name. I believe the handling
for a virus was alright, except for the choice in generating a
notification from a template, where I suspect the problem lies
in evaluation of a %#V macro (count of viruses).

It will have to wait until I return from vacation, unless somebody
else resolves the problem meanwhile.
