Hi all, I'm just playing around with the SQL and LDAP code in amavisd-new-2.6.3.
While comparing the SQL and LDAP lookups per recipient address, I've seen, that you can define per-recipient address extensions via SQL lookups, but not via LDAP lookups (same applies to clean_quarantine_to and archive_quarantine_to). The missing part in the LDAP code is to insert the implicit LDAP lookups in the subroutine "process_request()" and - obviously - to add appropriate attributes to the LDAP schema. Is there a certain reason why these lookups can be done via SQL, but not via LDAP, or has this just be "forgotten"? If the latter one is true, I would be very glad to have these lookups via LDAP too ;-) Of course I can patch this locally, but the next update to a current amavisd-new release would break these patches. So maybe someone can add this to the upstream code?
