Are you thinking of running your own amavisd code or do you just need a incoming / outgoing flow? you can handle that with amavisd-new policy google it!
Else you just run amavisd-new with config aruguments and seperate them, like /etc/amavis-incoming and /etc/amavis-outgoing Take care!
