There are certain things it would be good to know during registration:
- do any hadoop directories exist (ie /etc/hadoop, /etc/zookeeper,
/var/run/hadoop, /var/log/hadoop)
- Are there any already-running java processes already running?
- How many hadoop-related PIDs exist?
