1. Stop secondary namenode.
2. Edit the pid file, default location =
/var/run/hadoop/hdfs/hadoop-hdfs-secondarynamenode.pid
3. Change the pid to any other process pid that is currently running.
4. Start secondary namenode.
Outcome:
Secondary namenode start command succeeds but secondary namenode does not
start.
(indicated by live status of the component).
