Aleksandr Kovalenko created AMBARI-3627:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: Reassign Master: Quitting the wizard should be handled
gracefully
                 Key: AMBARI-3627
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-3627
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: client
    Affects Versions: 1.4.2
            Reporter: Aleksandr Kovalenko
            Assignee: Aleksandr Kovalenko
             Fix For: 1.4.2

We need to allow user to quit the wizard with a warning popup. We don't want to
be in a situation where user is stuck due to any unforeseen JS error or due to
a constant command/API failure and has no possible way to quit the wizard.
Also with the inclusion of start services with smoke tests as part of the
wizard, chances of wizard failing will increase.
As a solution we can document manual steps for completing or reverting reassign
master wizard as we have for NameNode HA wizard. When user tries to quit after
Review page, we can show a confirmation pop-up with a message: "Reassign
<component name> wizard is in progress. It's necessary to complete the wizard
for Ambari to be in usable state. If you choose to quit, you must follow manual
instructions to complete or revert reassign <component name> wizard as
documented in the Ambari User Guide. Are you sure you want to exit the wizard
?".
