Hhmm, things get weirder and weirder. After emptying the cache another few
times, the problem suddenly disappeared. Alert displayed only once. However, I
could login but never remembered the fact that I logged in (username in
response was always undefined).
This morning I booted my laptop and suddenly I was logged in, and kept being
logged in. I can logout, but after refresh I am logged in again. Furthermore,
the alert box now appears twice, again.
