Hi Martijn,

Yes, that is possible. In fact this WIKI page;
http://www.amdatu.org/confluence/display/Amdatu/Amdatu+Core already describes
which components are part of the 'core' and which are not. The WIKI page also
describes the contents of 'the rest', being Auth, Cassandra, OpenSocial,
Provisioning, Semantic and Web. Of course, the question is if this definition
of the 'core' corresponds to what you expect. Right now the core is a very
minimal set of components, authorization, authentication and REST support for
example are not included in the core.

Regards, Ivo

Subject: [Amdatu-developers] Splitting up Amdatu

Hi,

In preparation for the probable forthcoming license change from GPL/Afferro to
Apache for the core, would it be possible to split up Amdatu in two parts: the
core (which will be Apache licensed) and the rest? What parts will be logically
part of the core, and what parts are not?

Martijn
